See you again Mexico

Here are the comments that our students wrote for you. I would like to thank you for everything. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. I am sure this is the beginning of a rich relationship between two schools. I believe that sharing, communicating, loving, learning, and growing are some things that make people close to one another and this helps the world be a better place.

Teachers and students from Tec de Monterrey thank you for all your hospitality and help regarding our stay and making it easier for us to get to know a little about you, your country and traditions. I´m sure we will meet once more one of these days. We will be looking forward to having you as guests in Mexico.
Kind regards, Ilsa Ruelas

Since the first day, I felt as if I was at home but in a different part of the world. The classes were quite interesting and I learned lots of new things about different subjects. With Regional Studies I had a wider vision of the world and how different societies function. All the people I met at Egaa Gymnasium were always very kind and friendly to me, I really appreciate that. I would like to say thank you to all the people that made me feel comfortable and part of Egaa Gymnasium.

My experience in Denmark was quite interesting. I met a whole different culture, traditions & history; it was a completely different way of living. I’m so grateful for all the things the people I met did for me. They showed me a lot of things & also lived a looooooot of things I never thought I would do. I want to thank the teachers in Egaa who helped us, but especially the 2 Mikkel’s & Lise, my host families, my two host sisters: Andrea Albercht & Anna Kjær, & in general Denmark for giving me memories that I’m sure I’ll never forget.

Denmark has been one of the best experiences in my life. It was amazing to live and be around Danes because I learnt a lot from it and took advantage of all the freedom they gave us all, like taking the bus anywhere you want, and being responsible of your money and yourself. I would like to thank Egaa Gymnasium for making the exchange program possible, the teachers for making the classes interesting and with facts that really matter for life, all the students and Danish people that were kind and of course my host family for adopting me as part of their own family. I’m sure that this experience won’t ever be forgotten.

I just loved Denmark. I never thought I would be traveling to a country so different than mine. It was a great experience learning from a different culture, traditions and from different families that were so different among them. I would like to thank my host families and especially my host sisters Signe and Emma for making me feel part of the family. I’ll miss them a lot, it was great meeting different people with different ways of thinking and also being part of Egaa Gymnasium.

My stay in Denmark was an incredible experience; I learnt a lot from it and I had a great time. I would like to thank my two host families, the Vikners and the Clausens, for having been so welcoming, open and thoughtful towards me during my stay. I would also like to thank Egaa Gymnasium and the Tec de Monterrey for making the exchange possible and I would like to thank all our teachers in Denmark, especially Mikkel Andreasen and Mikkel Hollaender for all they taught us and the time they spent with us.                                                                                                            Denmark is a very interesting country and I really enjoyed my stay.

To be honest, I never thought that I would travel to such a pretty country as Denmark. Then I came here, and I had lots of new experiences, new people, new family, new friends, and many things that were different for me. I have to say that I really enjoyed these weeks in Danish land, I want to thank you for these memories that we made together, both students and teachers of Egaa Gymnasium, but especially I would like to thank my host Malene and her family, I really enjoyed the time I spent with you. Definitely one day I shall return to Denmark and say “hello” to you.

I was really happy to be part of a Danish school for at least one month. I really enjoyed my time, I got a lot of experience and most of all, I loved the way of teaching. I would like to say, the Danes students were not at all as warm as I was thinking, but by the time we got to meet each other in the last week, they were. Maybe they are shy to speak English or maybe they are not interested at all. Anyways, I will always remember Egaa as an awesome and incredible school; the food was delicious and, well, the teachers were amazing.
In this case, I’m really thankful with everyone, especially with one single and lovely person, Alberte. She has been the kindest and most wonderful sister I have ever had. I will always be in contact with her because people like her, there are just a few.

I never thought of being in an exchange program and I never thought of going to Denmark!  The month I spent in Egaa Gymnasium was amazing. I had a really good time, and I love the way teachers included us in their classes and the way they taught. I am really thankful with my host family because they made me feel like being part of their family, but especially with Andrea because she gave me a lot of confidence and she was the best host sister I could ever had. I’m going to miss her so much.
